Directoire Period Painted Armoire

A lovely original painted French directoire period armoire dating from the late 18th century, circa 1795. Several layers of paint are evident but all very similar in colouring - this beautiful warm oatmeal colour which would suit a classical or modern interior. The hardware is original including the original key. A charming example of a provincial directoire armoire.
