Exceptional 18th Century Louis 15 Period Painted Deux Corps

An absolutely superb 18th century deux corps dating from the Louis 15th period - circa 1760.
The deux corps is thankfully unrestored, dans son jus as they say in France. The bone coloured paintwork was applied in the 19th century over the original provencale grey/green. The curved interior drawers and shelving are intact and original as are the keys.
This deux corps has lived in a large bastide near Aix En Provence for the past two and a half centuries.
A thrilling find - this is a fabulous piece of furniture.
