French 19th Century Louis 16 Style Fauteuil

An exquisite French,19th century, Louis 16 style fauteuil. This charming fauteuil is in uncommon original condition with fine and delicate carving. The original dove grey paint is gently worn around the arms and the silk upholstery is beginning to fray with a couple of tears at the front. The chair could easily be recovered but it would also be lovely to appreciate it just as it is - an aesthetic emissary sent directly from the 19th century.
