French Painted Rustic Side Table

A delightful, early 19th century French side table from an artist's studio near Uzès in Southern France. The original oxblood coloured painted finish has been weathered and textured by time giving it a tactile sculptiral quality and lovely primitive appeal. A wonderful rustic accent for a modern interior.
