Late 19th Century, French, Empire Style Upholstered Armchair

A delightful late 19th century upholstered armchair in the Empire style. Typical Empire motif - finely carved crossbanded frame, fluted legs and elegant scrolled back. The upholstery is somewhat faded and there is a section of moulding missing from above the front left leg - the chair is priced accordingly.  A deliciously comfortable and elegant addition to any living room.
