A French, late 19th century, Napoleon III period, ebonised settee in the Louis 16 style. This settee is truly beautiful - typical Louis 16 crossed torcheres and ribbon motif, fluted legs and exceptionally fine carving. Stripped back to the calico in readiness for reupholstering or simply leave as is in all its deconstructed glory.
