Late 17th Century Venetian Painted Armoire

A truly exquisite late 17th / early 18th century painted armoire from the Venetian region of Italy. This beautiful cupboard is a garde manger ( pantry ) and was housed originally in the kitchen or dining area of an Italian palazzo. Majestic proportions, beautifully florid original Baroque painted finish and original hand forged hardware. This was a rare and exciting find and would make a spectacular and decorative feature piece for a discerning modern home.
